Hall Morrice Expands Team with Three New Appointments

Demand for quality financial support leads to business growth for North East firm

Aberdeen based accountancy firm Hall Morrice announces today 07/01/14 that it has expanded its team with three new appointments. The appointments form part of the firm's medium term growth plans and is a result of the increased demand for the financial advice and support that the award winning firm provides to growing SMEs. Hall Morrice offers a comprehensive range of integrated business services including accounting, audit, tax, business advisory and corporate finance at its offices in Aberdeen and Fraserburgh.

Senior Analyst Iain Bridges has joined the audit and accounts team where he is responsible for a mixed portfolio of work covering accounts preparation, audit and also business advisory services. He qualified with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) earlier this year and has over four years' experience in financial record keeping, accounts preparation, personal and corporate tax.

Natalia Streeter is returning to her Aberdeen roots after several years in Edinburgh and Fife to take on the role of Business Advisory Analyst. A part qualified ACCA, she has a background in financial record keeping, accounts preparation, VAT returns and business tax computations.

Ludi Mercy has also joined the business advisory team as a Business Advisory Analyst. Ludi is an experienced SAGE bookkeeper who will be joining the team to assist with all financial record keeping and VAT return work.

Partner Shonagh Fraser says, "As the economy gets back on track it's more important than ever that businesses have the right guidance on their finances. Thanks to this and the introduction of new legislation such as auto enrolment, Hall Morrice has experienced substantial recent growth and this has allowed us the opportunity to further strengthen our teams. Although access to finance is easing, business are now required by banks to provide far more comprehensive financial reporting than pre-recession and we have seen a significant number of businesses looking towards accountancy practices to provide this.

"I am delighted to welcome Iain, Natalia and Ludi to the firm. We want to ensure that the services Hall Morrice provides to clients are of the highest quality, and we believe our new appointments are the right people to help us achieve this."
