Hall Morrice announces the appointment of three new graduates in its Audit and Accounts team

Hall Morrice has appointed three new graduates to join its audit and accounts team, where they will complete their CA traineeships. The chartered accountancy practice, which has offices in Aberdeen and Fraserburgh have appointed graduates Jennifer Cardno (21), Eilidh Beaton (22) and Grant Mitchell (21). They join Hall Morrice during a period of growth and industry success, with the recent announcement of the creation of several new qualified positions, as well as being named Best Small Firm at the prestigious 2011 Scottish Accountancy Awards in May.

Graduate trainee, Eilidh Beaton says, "I was attracted to Hall Morrice as they are a firm who want to work with you to enhance and develop your career, rather than just confine you to one role. This approach was one that was very important to me, as starting off as a graduate it's difficult to identify where your interests and strengths within the profession lie. I am very excited to be starting my traineeship with Hall Morrice."

Senior Partner, Hugh Hall, says, "At Hall Morrice we look for the most talented individuals to join our team. We have a large and growing client base and to ensure we consistently meet their requirements we are always looking for new talent and CA trainee graduates provide the perfect fit in terms of skills and knowledge. As in previous years our graduate trainees are high achievers and award winners, not only have two of this year's graduates gained a first class honours in Accounting and Finance, but new trainee Jennifer Cardno scooped both the ICAS Charles Scott Prize for best combined score in financial accounting and taxation and the Anderson Anderson and Brown top student prize.

"A large proportion of undergraduates who have trained with Hall Morrice have stayed with us past qualifying, which is testimony to our commitment to training and career development. We're proud of our team and it's ultimately thanks to them that Hall Morrice has achieved such accolades as Best Small Firm."

Award winning graduate trainee, Jennifer Cardno added, "I completed my undergraduate placement at Hall Morrice and enjoyed the experience, gaining valuable knowledge and insight into the working life of an accountant. My placement confirmed to me that I wanted to study towards chartered status so I am pleased to have been offered a graduate position at Hall Morrice which is an excellent start to my career."
