Hall Morrice is a distinguished independent accountancy firm with a team of over 80 dedicated professionals.   The Business Advisory [Senior] Manager will be lead and mentor a team of professionals while managing a diverse portfolio of clients.  This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the department as it builds on its compliance services and expands its strategic offering.

You will be:

  • Playing an integral role in shaping and executing the department’s strategic direction aligning with the firm’s strategy of developing service lines and growing it’s revenue streams and profitability.
  • Managing full life-cycle of business advisory projects across a substantial and diverse client portfolio.
  • Developing close relationships with clients, offering strategic insights that address their evolving needs, ensuring your position as a trusted advisor.
  • Shaping, developing and mentoring a team of professional staff members through exceptional leadership, mentorship and professional development.
  • Championing the firm and department through business development, networking and other collaborative activities.
  • Leading and directing the preparation of periodic management accounts for clients, providing strategic insights, actionable recommendations, and improvements to financial processes.
  • Working collaboratively with team members across the firm to ensure services are provided to clients in a co-ordinated and seamless manner.
  • Maintaining an expert understanding of accounting and regulatory standards ensuring the firm’s adherence to evolving requirements.

About you:

  • Educated to ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience in managing advisory client portfolios and coaching junior members of staff.
  • Keen to engage in business development activities, recognising that building trusted relationships drive our growth.
  • Expertise in compliance, regulatory matters and industry standards.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage your time effectively and prioritise workload, with multiple conflicting demands.
  • You have superb spoken and written communication skills, and a passion for working with people.
  • You can build a rapport with people, quickly developing their trust and handling any confidential matters with sensitivity.
  • Consistently represents the firm’s values in all interactions, upholding our reputation and standards.
